New apartments to IGNITE southport

Approval has been gained for the Ignite development on the corner of Queen and Lather Streets in Southport.

Located in the Southport Priority Development Area Garden Precinct, the 'Ignite' development is well placed to take advantage of Southports emerging commercial heart as well as the world class Parklands recreation strip, along the edge of the Broadwater.

The development consists of 72 units with two 8 storey towers over two levels of parking. Unit layouts have been carefully designed so that lounge areas have corner locations in each of the towers with commanding views to the Broadwater and over the city.

As commented on by CBRE, who are currently marketing the site, 'it is an economical design with staging potential'. The project was designed to be built not just on-sold, so much consideration was given during the design process to ensure structural economies were in place.

Developer Matt Stanley, from Asset Economics, has driven the project and has been keen to ensure that it provided a positive contribution to the urban landscape of Southport. Councils ambitions to protect and enhance the Garden Precinct were fully supported with generous setbacks and planting enhanced by Byrns Lardner Landscape. A rooftop recreation space crowns the development and allows all residents the opportunity to enjoy Broadwater views.

The property is currently being marketed by Lachlan Harris at CBRE: http://property.cbre.com.au/agents/lachlan-harris/
